Last week I walked into my local gas station and was delighted at the rainbow of chip bags that greeted me by the checkout counter. Sure, people love Yelping the new fancy restaurant and watching Food Network for things we could be making, but what about that horrible stuff we actually are eating? That’s where I come in. Keep reading for regular updates on the sweets, the salts and the sass I intend on sampling.
Yours Truly,
Gas Station Gourmand

I have nominated this blog for the Food Stories Award for Excellence in Storytelling: http://veggiewhatnow.wordpress.com/2012/05/24/food-stories-nominee-for-excellence-in-storytelling/ Congratulations on your nomination!
Hey there, thanks for stopping by my blog! What a fantastic idea this is, and what a courageous stomach you have for carrying it out. I’m looking forward to “top 5″ and “bottom 5″ lists of your experiences at some point…
LOL Love your blogs concept! Thanks for visiting my blog and liking my post on stir fry!
I’ll be looking for your next gas station hit. peace
That stir fry deserved it! Thanks for the love.
Thanks for checking out my blog and liking a post! Look forward to reading through yours. Hope to see you around here in the future.
Best blog topic ever.
You’re making me blush! Thanks!
Hi,
Thanks for “liking” the “Partridgeberry…” post on my “arnnarn.com” blog. I hope you come back often.
Your blog is wonderful. You mention all the different chips in this- if you get a chance, you might want to check out the “You want chips with that?” post on my blog.
Keep up the good work.
Bruce
Hi (part2),
And now thanks for following my blog. I’ll be looking at yours as well.
Bruce
Hilariously informative. Funnily (if that’s a word—-it is now, because I’m using) honest. Almost (but not quite) makes me want to go to the Gas Station for my refreshments. Still, I subscribe to the Michael Pollan Axiom: Eat all the junk food you want……as long as you make it yourself. Keep on blogging these great observations.
This sounds fun! I will be reading.
You’ve tapped into all of our guilty pleasures, hurray!
Thanks for visiting my blog. Yours sounds like so much fun!
Wow! Interesting concept. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Thank you! I always try to scope out my neighbors when I get the chance!
Oh. My. Word. You’re a genius, and I love you.
Bye now,
Andi
Thank you for reading and the like of my post.
interesting concept! Love it!!
I’m glad you are enjoying my blog. Hope you enjoy the recipes.
I love this blog already! very cool idea
Thank you! Now that I’m a few months into it, I’m realizing that, not only do I have a stomach of steel, but I was lacking in my junk food education.
Thanks for your “Like”. You have a cool blog, and drop by again.
I really enjoyed reading all of your reviews. You pick the best things to write about! It’s an honor to be followed by you. I can’t wait to read more from you!
Thanks for stopping by my blog again. I hope you try this fabulous Red Velvet Cake recipe. It’s beautiful around the holidays especially if you pipe red frosting around the bottom and top. Let me know what you think.
Thanks for the visit to The Nutrition Doctor is In the Kitchen and the like on my chocolate zucchini bread post ~ I appreciate it! Definitely not of gas station ilk.
Cheers, PKN
It’s a tough job, but somebody has to do it.
Love this blog! What a genius idea….
Thanks for visiting The He Said She Said Experience and liking our post about Edibles Incredible!
Love your blog! And I thought of it when I read this from Mental Floss: http://www.mentalfloss.com/blogs/archives/136738
You are my hero. Love the blog.
Thanks! I don’t make delicious flan or anything, but I try =D
If only they served mediocre/scary looking flan at gas stations…Then we both would have something to write about. Dare to dream!
Thanks for finding me and commenting. My GI tract is hurting just reading your posts…you are brave!!
You’ll have to take a vacation from the gas station hopping and try a Paleo challenge to improve (and heal?) your gastronomy at some point, ha!
OMG! (so cliche I know but..) I LOVE your blog and I have only just taken a minute to check it out! For all my scratch-cooking ways and my “healthier than most” eating habits – I have no sham in scarfing down delicious junk food treats. New Doritos flavor out – I gotta try it. New candy bar – sign me up – you name it I have eaten it from my local gas station, convenience store, etc.
PS Thanks for following along on my blog.
Great Blog – thanks for stopping by Gunsmoke and Knitting. I’ll be back!
I think your blog is a hoot! I forage around in gas station stores for something to snack on often. I had an awards ceremony at my blog today and nominated you for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award. http://breezybooksblog.wordpress.com/2012/09/24/after-watching-the-emmys/ You certainly do inspire at the gas station!
What a cool idea! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I’m definitely going to check out yours!
